It's been a while since I last posted here and I do apologize. I never thought having 2 kids would be quite troublesome especially if you don't have a yaya around.
Anyways, our son is currently enrolled in Veritas Preschool. It's a parochial school where they learn the basic subjects such as Language, Reading, Science and Math with an additional subject of Writing and Christian Living where they learn good manners. The school also had a parent's orientation where we're "oriented" of the school's staff and what to expect for this school year.
So far, my son is adjusting quite well. His schedule is currently 12:30PM to 4:00PM, which is good because he's an late riser. Whenever he comes home from school, he always tells me stories of what he and his classmates did that day.
The school doesn't have teacher assistants unlike in his old school because Veritas would like to teach the students independence. I also don't have any negative comments to this because my son doesn't have any negative reactions to it, too.
It's really like going to a standard school where you have classmates, one teacher, a principal, guidance counselor, etc.
On Fridays, they have their P.E. that the kids love.
So far, so good. I guess I can say that the school tries to balance everything - studies, interaction with kids, christian values and public awareness. That's what I'm looking for in a school because it doesn't stress out my child ( so far ).
You can check out their Facebook account where you can post inquiries. They always update their photos category where you can see their latest activities in school.
