Every year of October, our village has trick or treat and the residents are very generous in giving treats. Last 2012, I made a mistake in going to SM Las Pinas for trick or treat hoping that we would get a better experience, but it was not.

Donations Needed For Typhoon Yolanda Survivors in Leyte
To aid our fellow countrymen in Leyte due to the super typhoon, "Yolanda", the parish church of Veritas Parochial School (my son's school) of Paranaque has a project called "Alay ng Pagkabuhay". This is a continuous effort to support communities devastated by the typhoon, most especially the community of Guiuan, Leyte through Fr. Edgar Abucejo. I'm simply helping them out by posting their project through my blog.
We would like to focus on helping parents by providing basic needs of children which we believe has been over looked and are badly needed. In this connection, we would like to ask to the following items:

- Tents for temporary shelter (urgently needed)
- Medicine - Tempra, Calpol, Biogesic and others for kids.
- Vitamins
- Hydrite
- Diapers (from infant to toddler)
- Milk preferably condense milk in tetra packs (any brand)
- New children's clothes and underwear (newly born and onwards)
- New plain t-shirts for adults
- New adults undergarments (most especially for women)
- Hygiene kit (soap, tooth paste, tooth brush, sanitary napkin and alike)
- Food in tetra packs or easy open cans
And other basic necessities that I may have failed to mention.
