Just for transparency, I don’t own a condo, but my sister does. Sometimes we would stay there just for a quick vacation or when we’re bored out of our mind in our house. She would sometimes share with me the expenses she pays to maintain her condo unit.
Benefits of Living in a Condo
Location is accessible to everything
If you’re the type of person who loves urban living like going to coffee shops, convenience stores, grocery stores or even the mall, then living in a condo is for you. Most condos nowadays have their own coffee shops, convenience stores, banks, and laundry shops within their vicinity. I guess developers make sure to have those around to also attract buyers and investors.

Someone is Always There For You / Security
For emergencies or even non-emergencies, there will always be people who can assist you like the condo’s receptionist or the guards. That way, you won’t feel alone that much and you would feel more secured especially since the guards always inspects and write down notes who comes in and out of the building.
Sense of Community
When we stayed in my sister’s condo, we noticed that people were disciplined and they respect each other’s privacy. I’ve never talked to anyone who lived there during our short staycation, but since people in the building strictly practice recycling, you’ll easily get converted if you’re not into recycling yet.

Property Appreciation Value
A condo unit is part of real estate and it adds to your assets if you own one. Another benefit of having a condo is that its value increases over time making it a good investment. Some even buys a condo and plans to make it available for rent. I personally would love to own one because of the mentioned benefits, but I know I can’t afford it yet. I sometimes check on free online calculators like Calculator.me just to check if I can afford to buy a home or even a car.
That's all I have to say about that. Do you have comments/questions about this article? Leave them in the comments below.
