How To Apply For A Postal ID in Paranaque

I applied for a postal ID this morning and I got it within minutes! Read further on how to get a postal ID in Paranaque City Hall.

Amending My SSS ID in SSS Paranaque Branch

Yes, that's right! You can now get your digitized SSS ID in SSS Paranaque branch! You don't have to go to Commonwealth anymore to get one.

I got my first SSS ID back in 2003 when I was still single, but now that I'm married, I wanted to change the name on my ID and I want the new one which is a Unified ID. And so I went to the nearest SSS branch in Paranaque which is along Dr. A. Santos Avenue.

How to Apply for a Barangay Clearance (BF Homes)

I applied for a Barangay Clearance yesterday because it's one of the requirements in obtaining a Postal ID, which I plan to get the next day.

Tahanan Homeowners Association (THA) Office
First step is they give you an endorsement form.  In my case, since I live in Tahanan Village,  I need to fill up the form and then have it signed by our village president/representative. This form verifies that I'm a resident of Tahanan.

Note: Your village/subdivision office usually have this form available in their office already. If not, you have to get this in BF Barangay Hall. I got mine from the THA office.

Bring the following:
  • One (1) 1x1 picture and,
  • Php20.00 for the fee.
Receipt
The processing of the endorsement letter takes only a few minutes. When I got the form, I went straight to BF Homes' Barangay Hall to get my clearance.

Now that I have my endorsement form ready, taking a barangay clearance is a breeze. I just gave them the endorsement and I just waited for a few minutes for them to prepare the clearance. No need to bring an ID picture. Just bring another Php20.00 for the fee.

I also tried getting a cedula, but they just ran out. It will be available next week.

My 9-month old Had Difficulty Sleeping

My daughter (9 months old) had difficulty sleeping the past few days for uncertain reasons such as probably because I drank coffee even though I was breastfeeding or probably because she missed her naps when we went to the mall or to the park, etc. As I've read the answers throughout the internet, some say don't let her take a nap in the afternoon and let her sleep in the evening for her to sleep all through the night. Well, she did took a nap in the afternoon, but only for 10 minutes and then she's awake all through the day until 10pm. Before going to bed at night, she was cranky and just didn't want to sleep. So this wasn't a good sleeping pattern to venture on.

Today, she was able to take a nap for 3 hours in the afternoon and she woke up in a good mood. In the evening, I let her take her 2nd bath because she was sweaty and it was just a hot summer night. I let her eat as much as she want to make her full. Later in the evening, she was able to go to bed without me cradling her to sleep. She went to sleep on her own! Thank you, Lord.

I guess 2 main factors that really helped her go to sleep without any fuss is giving her a bath in the evening and making her full before going to sleep. It's just impossible for her to sleep with an empty stomach.

Well, that's just it. I thought I'd just share it with you, guys. Thanks for reading.

Electrolux HUSH Happier at Home

"There is nothing like staying at home for real comfort." ~ Jane Austen.

Our home is our sanctuary. This is the place where we (should) relax, have fun, bond , make memories and relax some more. But the way things are right now at our home, relaxation is the least in my mind because our home is like a daycare center.  I have an 8-month old daughter who screams, cries and needs constant attention and guidance. I also have a 5-year-old son who constantly runs, jumps and just soo makulit.
