Junk Today, Your "Precious" Tomorrow

There are a lot of things that we take for granted and I'm one of the guilty ones. I bought some Tender Juicy hotdogs just a few months ago and they had some freebies attached to it. It was the time when Jurassic World was trending in the movie world so the freebie we got was a Jurassic Park themed pouch.
The front

The back

I'm really clueless as to what to do with it. I was thinking it was a cellphone pouch, but  our cell phones don't fit it so I was even tempted to give it away or worse, throw it away because it didn't serve any purpose and sometimes I see it lying around the house while my kids play with it sometimes. However, the thrifty mom inside me tells me that I might use it some day so I just put it in the drawer.

Then thankfully, I was blessed to have a camera, a Canon Ixus, but sad to say, the camera did not come with a pouch unlike other cameras like Samsung where a pouch is already included inside the box. So I was a bit irritated because I need to buy a pouch for it. Then my husband said, "Why don't you try the free pouch that we had, the Jurassic World pouch?" I was a bit skeptical at first, but I thought, "Oh, what the heck."

To my surprise, the camera fit perfectly and I now appreciate the dinosaur design even more because I got bored with the usual plain colors that pouches usually have.

I don't mind the Purefood logo :)

So there you have it! Moral of the story is don't throw away things like this pouch that you don't need because you'll never know when you'll be able to use it especially if you have kids who can use those items in the future.

Just sharing *wink*
