#IAmUrbanBrave

Every man looks his best when wearing a suit. A suit can actually change a one's outlook upon himself and instantly gives him power; the power to impress and be respected. Well, at least that's what I feel when I'm around clients, coworkers, friends, and even with my family. My wife was the first one to comment and say, "Wow! You look extra handsome in that suit."

Having mentioned everything about what a suit can do to a person,  finding a bag that goes well with it is a bit of a challenge. Of course, I have tried using the classic attache case and leather bags, but they don't seem to work for me. I was looking for something... MORE. I wanted a bag that's comfortable, sleek, can accommodate my belongings perfectly, or to put it bluntly, I want a bag that also means business.

I was looking around the internet to find such bag and a lot of them came up, but what really caught my attention was the brand, Urbanize. My wife referred me to this brand because she's been hearing plenty of good feedbacks about it so I decided to visit their branch in Alabang Town Center to check their items out.

Their store in the said branch was quite small, but they have plenty of different bags to choose from so I asked a little help from their salesman and told him my dilemma.

--------------------------------------

After much deliberation, this is one of the bags he recommended which I personally liked, chose, and bought amongst all others:

Bag Exterior

Bag Interior
I bought the bag for the following reasons:
  1. First, I like it's color (interior and exterior colours) because black can easily be matched to whatever outfit I have and the light interior color helps me see the contents of my bag easily;
  2. Second, carrying the bag feels very light;
  3. Third, because of its diverse design, I use it in or out of the office so it has a dual purpose.
  4. Fourth and one of the main reasons why I bought it is the bag's anti-theft features.
Did I get your attention when I mentioned anti-theft features? Then allow me to elaborate more on it. My very special Urbanize bag has the following anti-theft features:
  1. The bag is secured with Pacsafe Anti-Theft Technology made of eXomesh® locking system.
The eXomesh® is made from high-tensile stainless steel wire which is very difficult to cut   through. The netting is made from 1.5mm wire and the locking cable is 3mm thick. To cut through the netting, many wires will need to be cut to remove the bag; this process is time consuming. 95% of the time, a would-be thief does not want to draw attention to him/her nor does he have the luxury of time of time to chip away at the wire.

 2. My bag has RFIDsafe™ blocking pockets & material.

      Most passports and credit cards contain a RFID micro-chip, which contains all your personal, sensitive information. Identity thieves are able to access this information from up to 10ft away with the help of an RFID reader. Our award-winning RFIDsafe™ blocking material helps to prevent your data from falling into the wrong hands by blocking out virtually all transmissions between 10 MHz - 3 GHz, which covers the radio frequency used in most e-passports and credit cards.

*This is where I store my credit cards, IDs, and other important cards.

3. My strap is a Carrysafe® slashguard strap

Flexible, lightweight, stainless steel wire is integrated into our adjustable Carrysafe® straps making it invisible to the eye, yet very effective at helping to prevent bag slashers from slicing through and running off with your gear.

You might think I might be a it paranoid and that I don't necessarily need all of these security features. Well, one can never be too careful especially since I commute almost daily. Sometimes, I also carry some important documents with me that are needed in the office and sometimes I put some cash in my bag so I really need it to be "extra" secure for my own peace of mind.

I asked my wife to take an OOTD pic of me before going to the office with my new bag. I am quite happy and proud of it. Inside is a notebook, cellphone, passport, cards, extra shirt, and other miscellaneous items I bring in the office. The first time I carried my Urbanize bag with my items inside, it was surprisingly lighter than my old bag carrying the same amount of items, which was downright awesome.

So for me, no money is wasted with a product that you can depend on. In my case, I know for myself that I carry a bag that will not fail me and will work for me, therefore I am brave enough to face my daily challenges and be urban brave (business class).
